Ean is essentially little more than a fortress, though it has a small port and enough housing to cover the merchants and militia that keep the fortress and the ports running. Some of the trade goods will continue on via the coastal road. The people of Ean are welcoming to travelers and sailors, but unflinchingly intolerant of unlawfulness, even tavern brawls.
