Timeline of sol system

Overview

This star and its planetary bodies comprise the Sol star system, and is home to Terra, which is the default starting location for Elemental D6 campaigns

Planets

Sol i - aisling

Radius: 6,232 miles
Surface Area: 488M square miles
Volume: 1T cubic miles
Circumference: 39,000 miles
Moons: None

Aisling is a gas giant with a solid core and, against all odds, a thriving civilization under the thick gaseous cloud layer. Adventurers must navigate the gaps within the swirling clouds in order to safely make it to the ground layer

Sol ii - terra

Radius: 1,093 miles
Surface Area: 15M square miles
Volume: 5.5B cubic miles
Circumference: 6,867 miles
Moons: Ceol, Eala

Terra and Siur are rare in that they share an orbit, putting them at opposite end of the system at all times. Terra is home to four of the sapient species, and several nations. [GM note: This system makes an excellent launching pad for new campaigns due to the depth of content it has]

Sol iii - siur

Radius: 1,145 miles
Surface Area: 16.5M square miles
Volume: 6.3B cubic miles
Circumference: 7,190 miles
Moons: Cara, Fain, Fiach

Terra and Siur are rare in that they share an orbit, putting them at opposite end of the system at all times. Siur has no primary landmass, and is instead comprised of a chain of archipelagos that swirl around the planet in one unbroken chain

Sol iv - dearg

Radius: 3,613 miles
Surface Area: 164M square miles
Volume: 198B cubic miles
Circumference: 22,600 miles
Moons: None

Dearg is the fourth planet in orbit around Sol (third orbit) and features asteroids, water, and ice in a large ring surrounding the planet. The surface is a reddish-brown color and is not populated

close up image of taisce

Sol v - taisce

Radius: 5,390 miles
Surface Area: 365M square miles
Volume: 656B cubic miles
Circumference: 33,850 miles
Moons: Carogh, Cnagaire, Druh, Gealb, Glas, Seabhac, Ulcha

Taisce, like Terra, is heavily populated. It suffered a devastating fracturing event which severely affected the population, as well as ocean levels. This draining of the ocean has opened up vast new lands which have developed their own ecosystems, below the upper plateau of the “old world”

Sol VI - Uisce

Radius: 1,983 miles
Surface Area: 49.4M square miles
Volume: 32.7B cubic miles
Circumference: 3,900 miles
Moons: None

Uisce's surface is covered in ice year round, and while it is not home to sapient species, there is a thriving ecosystem
