Description The boat ride into Sothis was mostly uneventful other than Jew Rah's lucky run at poker which made quick enemies turned drinking buddies. Meridian managed to creep out an old sailor who doesn't need a daughter.

Once we made port we sized up the place and split up, after Roderick guaranteed a boat for further travels and a place to rest for the night.

Jew Rah wandered the strees and headed to the Jewel of the Desert, watched some heated fights near the scarab shell, winning even more money whilst betting on the fight. This bit of luck reminded him to go and pay his promised drinks to the sailors, before returning to the rented suite at the Jewel of the Desert.

Meridian made a new friend and was given an adorable tour of the city by an overly excited lobby boy, while Roderick wandered over to the merchant's hall looking for more adventures and sizing up the opposition on the current quest. He managed to make a contact for future networking.

Nalan holed up in the inn and made a hammock out of the curtains.
