Large uninhabited island in the east of the Gaelen archipelago. The majority of the island is covered in the Maohe forest, which has two distinct biomes. The majority of the forest is temperate, while the northwestern region of the forest is a giant mushroom forest

The residents of Gael rarely visit the forest, claiming the forest to be mysteriously deadly. On occasion, preservation society expeditions will make forays into the forest to check on its health, and search for ancient Kal'tael ruins. These expeditions have explored roughly 35% of the forest
