History

Jhua'nen began as an alliance between Sehti'taal and Kalmar shortly after the beginning of the Age of Honor. The assassination of the King of Kalmar began a trend of division between the great houses of eastern and western Aimsir. The alliance was seen as a conduit to amass enough military strength to shift the balance of power back towards larger empires, and a reformation of the ancient alliances of western Aimsir

The two nations embarked on an age of conquest, beginning with the invasion of Khan'laheeri in the Thousand Year War. Kalmar would also begin colonization of Gael, where they would encounter and defeat Akkaus which was also colonizing the continent. Eventually however, the territory would eventually be lost when Kal'tael would secede from Kalmar and thus the alliance's collective territory. To the north, Sehti'taal would eventually loose their territories in Craic when Nae'eri declared independence

These breakaway kingdoms were possible because the alliance was at war with Reshk'tar, and the list of their enemies grew from within as well as from without. Loss of territory in Kalmar would prompt the formal declaration of the Jhua'nen empire in a power move by Sehti'taal which Kalmar was unable to thwart. The emperor focused her efforts to the south, breaking through the Hitan Bulwark and conquering Hito'Maru, a feat which had been deemed impossible. The riches of the Hito province enabled Jhua'nen to build a massive and well equipped army, whose existence only served to polarize the rest of the world against the empire

In the end, all other nations were in alliance against Jhua'nen, and this proved enough to halt invasions into what seemed like every single kingdom and province on Terra. The tipping point was the entrance of the Baumeni into the fighting, an event so rare, it took Jhua'nen's generals completely by surprise

After many more years of bitter fighting, the kingdoms of Terra were no closer to a close in the war and the fighting had decimated much of the planet's population. Eventually, an agreement would be made at the Council of Ceilidh, and new boundaries were drafted, and the hostilities ceased. Jhua'nen dropped their title and became Yuanen, which persists to the current day
