The city of Erenga rests on a plateau, overlooking Raweni bay in Koraha. Originally founded by the ancient kingdom of Khan'laheeri as a part of its expansion north to the present day Korahan coast. The city was conquered by the Ulfar of Akkaus, reconquered by the Khan'laheeri in the Age of Honor, lost again to Akkaus, and then later abandoned. Eventually, refugees that fled to Inis returned, and resettled Koraha in the First Age. When the city of Erenga was repopulated, many of the buildings were still intact, as its past inhabitants had fled instead of fighting, now returned to re-establish the ancient city

The city was restored and revived its ancient role as a safe haven from the wars of ancient eras long past. It is well known across terra that all are welcome in this city, regardless of their past or present troubles. The city has an elaborate welcoming ceremony that they perform regularly, as the city has continued to grow throughout the Third Age. A new member of the city will climb the stone staircase carved into the rock, which connects the port below to the city above.
