The Zeol are a proud and honorable species, with a strong sense of community and duty. They live in highly structured societies and belong to small clans that function like family units. They live long lives dedicated to the protection of their clan and their natural home. Many Zeol follow the Druidic ki path

Zeol are similar in stature and form to Ulfar, with a taller and stronger build. Their features are leonine, with fur covering their bodies and the facial structure of a lion. Additionally they have retractable claws and the males have flowing manes

Zeol tend to have peaceful but distant relations with members of other species, though there are exceptions to this this rule. Members of other species can be adopted by a clan, in which case they are treated as an equal. Zeol tend to have contempt for anyone they deem to be without honor

While most Zeol are duty bound to protect their clans, this calls some of them to leave their clans and undertake a journey or quest in service to their clan. Very few Zeol will leave their clans voluntarily, but those that do are generally regarded to be participating in a journey of enlightenment and self discovery which will eventually lead them back to their clan

Medium: +1 bonus to grapple maneuvers against smaller targets
Movement Speed: Zeol have a base movement speed of 30 feet
Adept Hunter: Gain Wilderness survival and Stealth as Skill Foci at level 1, Darkvision 45 feet
Natural Weapons: When attacking with a melee strike using claws or fangs, Zeol deal 2d6 additional damage. This damage is always lethal
