The Jadyari are a unique species with the ability to form large ice crystals which make up a part of their anatomy they use to regulate body temperature when outside their native biomes. They live in packs, usually very far from civilization, and rarely form relationships with creatures from other species

Jadyari are similar in form to Ulfar, with a taller and stronger build. They have long white fur, sometimes with patterns of grey, covering the majority of their bodies. Their facial structure is feline, and they have two large fangs protruding downward from the upper row of teeth. Their hands and feet have long claws. Their pupils have a four-pointed star shape. Protruding from their fur on their backs are large ice in crystalline form, extending outward from the top of the neck to the back of the spine. They have a short, stubby tail at the base of the spine. When living in warmer climates, their ice shards grow longer and help regulate their temperature. These ice shards are a form of natural hydromancy which is not connected to their elemental affinity

The Jadyari are viewed as less intelligent due to their simplistic language and physical appearance, and as savage due to their extremely territorial nature. Their behavior, compounded with their reputation, has lead to frequent conflict with other species

While most Jadyari are territorial and live their entire lives within their ancestral grounds, a few Jadyari have the galactic wanderlust. Some Jadyari travel the stars in search of a new home, their home planet destroyed or conquered
