Description
Idris is one of the three librarians that tend the Academy's library archives, along with his aunt, Saffron masri, and Kami serzean, a family friend. Idris is a tad hot-headed to be a stereotypical librarian, and can often be heard grumbling loudly throughout the library. Library rule infractions by students and masters alike are met with mostly harmless rants about the lack of respect for knowledge. When not working, Idris can be found in the Refectory, training in the Bherasque court, or contemplating at the shrine. Idris and Saffron were disowned by their family after choosing to abandon their family trading business and pursuing the life of an archivist. While his family's ire could not sway his choice, it never sat well with Idris and it still weighs heavily upon him. If Idris has had enough to drink, his conversation will eventually find its way to Bherasque and whether or not his family would have been more accepting if he had chosen to pursue a career as a professional player
