History

Cnahk'tah was a small kingdom in the south of present day Gerth. Originally conquered by Tael'Reshk when it belonged to Shak'tar, this province saw the opportunity to secede from Tael'Reshk after it was weakened by its war with Kalmar and the Sehti'Ahkha'tar empire. After the end of the Great War and its secession, this small country maintained friendly relations with Reshk'tar, mostly out of necessity, but also because Reshk'tar quickly reasserted its ancient heritage. Having this in common, the two kingdoms formed the Shak'tar alliance

Reshk'tar would go on to conquer back much of its lands from Kalmar in the Age of Blood, though it would lose its eastern coastal lands when Gherth'Jhaa seceded. Eventually, Cnahk'tah and Gherth'Jhaa would unite again to form Gherth'tah, regaining all of their ancestral homelands. When the Council of Ceilidh reformed the kingdoms, Gherth'tah would be reformed as Gerth, which would persist until the present day
