==== History ====
The kingdom of Tael'Reshk was formed near the end of the Stone age when several neighboring tribes sought to form a defensive alliance as discovery of the wider world dawned. They carved out a territory in what is now the [[Taelk Desert]] in southern [[Reithe]]. The kingdom slowly grew, expanding north and east until they clashed with [[Shak'tar]] in the east and [[Khan'Laheeri]] in the north

[[Shak'tar]] had also been expanding, but to the west. Hostilities ensued and war was eventually declared, and Tael'Reshk was victorious. This made Tael'Reshk's territory very large and soon they were a force to be reckoned with. This prompted [[Kalmar]] to invade Tael'Reshk in its southern province. After losing much territory in the south, the two warring countries called for an end to the fighting, though [[Kalmar]] kept the territory it had captured

The peace would ultimately break down again when [[Kalmar]] invaded a second time, which sparked the Great War, which would engulf the majority of the planet in war. Tael'Reshk would look to its neighbors, the [[Khan'Laheeri]] for an ally, though the Laheeri were also fighting off the [[akkaus|Akkau]] who were invading from the sea. [[Kalmar]] was at the time part of the [[Sehti'Ahkha'tar]] empire, though its prolonged war with [[Tael'Reshk]] caused political division within the empire. When Tael'Reshk gained allies and turned the tide of the war, this division cracked the empire, splitting its three provinces into independent nations. At this time [[Kalmar]] ceased its campaign against Tael'Reshk, though not before they had taken even more territory to the north, extending even so far as [[Khan'Laheeri]]

The kingdom, though no longer facing its enemy, had been weakened by the war, and Tael'Reshk had its own internal division. The inhabitants of the eastern coast had long memories and had often desired to break away from Tael'Reshk who had conquered them so many years ago. Tael'Reshk's remaining territory would split into [[Reshk'tar]] in the north and [[Cnahk'tah]] in the south. These nations were ancestrally descended from [[Shak'tar]], all but a few of the original inhabitants of Tael'Reshk perished during the war
