Sleta is a smaller port city built on the southern coast of [[Aimsir]], where the coast is met by the southern tip of the [[Sliabh Mountains]]. The city's nation population is mostly [[Carragh]], with a small minority of travellers that call the city home. Sleta is unique among the major cities of [[Sliabh]] in that it is built primarily above ground. The notable exception is the large subterranean amplitheater which is used for meetings, especially with [[Carragh]] diplomats more comfortable below ground

The city is shaped like a horse-shoe, carved out by a canal that forms a ring around a large artificial island built into the center of the bay. Impressive stone bridges connect the outer ring to the central island. The island houses a grand bazaar of the goods not destined for the interior of [[Sliabh]], which makes Sleta a central location for trade for the southern coastal regions of [[Aimsir]]. At the center of the outer ring stands a large, cylindrical stone pillar that stands 220 feet tall. The pillar's exterior is carved with depictions of [[Carragh]] historical events, and is built above the city's amplitheater

The [[Carragh]] of Sleta are independently minded, by Carragh standards, but see themselves as inexorably bound to [[Sliabh]]. The citizens have taken it on themselves to bring outside influences into the [[Carragh]] empire. Despite this disruptive behavoir and their remote location, Sleta is well regarded by the rest of [[Sliabh]]
