A Primed Meridian

Biggest event of the week the young Northern girl found true love and has taken off on her own.

While Flint decided it was past time to go and meet with his monastery folk so we  for the time have parted ways promising to meet up once again in 2 weeks in Port Peril to aid the White Lotus in abating the country side of slavers.

Jew Ra and myself decided to pick up a mail run from the Merchants guild and take passage on a quick ship to Port Peril by way of Cheliax my home country.  Sadly the stay in Cheliax was just for four hours but that was long enough to get a few bottles of my favorite wine Jew Ra got to see the ports of a new country and pick up some more coin from unsuspecting sailors

On the leg of our journey from Cheliax to Port Peril while encountering foul weather our Captain had the ship pull ashore to wait out the storm.  While on the shore we noticed some tribesmen watching us, over night the tribesmen tested our defenses and then left not to bother us again.

Once getting to Port Peril  we delivered our parcels to the Dancing Dragon a Inn of amazing build and wealth apparently the  manager of the Inn was a man with Red eyes who was generous with tip and offered us more parcel work when we leave, he did not give us his name and made it apparent he was not interested in a conversation long enough to give it.

After a evening of eating and conversation at the Inn and Jew Ra spending the afternoon at a bath house we took the fairy across the bay to the White Lotus where we met up with the Lady of the establishment (sorry forgot notes)  upon letting her know we were here to aid in taking down the slavers, she decided to run Jew Ra and myself through our paces to see if we were tough enough to join the force on the Slavers.

Standing in a arena with 4 pillars and earthen floor the signal to begin was sounded, I let a arrow fly into the chest of our first bout tester being thankful he had just given me some dueling arrows  I see Jew Ra run up to the side of the pillar and disappear into the earth.  Not seeing this action the second opponent ran up to the side of the pillar and peering around to attack Jew Ra visibly shocked that Jew Ra was not there he begins to hide behind the pillar from me arrows, Suddenly from behind the opponent Jew Ra Shoots from the ground throwing the pillar across the arena giving me the chance to put a arrow in place for us to win the test.
