Nephys is an ancient [[ki spirits#Sura]] of Shadow, born after [[Kujen]] and [[Nirriti]] the other [[ki spirits#Suras]] of Shadow. Nephys is the Sura of vengeance. Nephys is generally disposed toward violence and destruction, but normally lacks strong motivation. When threatened or slighted, Nephys becomes a terrifying force, far more powerful than a ki spirit of her age should be capable of, becoming a rival to the [[ki spirits#deva|Devas]] themselves

Nephys is charming and flamboyant, and almost always smiling. She enjoys witty conversation and playing with humanoids. She constructs elaborate, theatrical situations and ruses to pursue her goals, seemingly unsatisfied by any achievement attained through straightforward means

Nephys' birth coincided with a [[nahual|Nahuali]] spiritual ritual which awakened a new dimension of the shadow plane, giving birth to Nephys and allowing the Nahuali to change their shape through an unconscious step through the shadow realm. Nephys has a special connection with the Nahuali and watches over their safety throughout the galaxy

Nephys' pure elemental form is a [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhombic_triacontahedron|rhombic triacontahedron]], and her elemental form has a large build and swirls slowly, unless agitated. Nehphys' animal form is a regal stag

When interacting with humanoids, Nephys takes the form of a beautiful male Aven [[Crhubai]] with delicate facial features, deer physical features and an unnaturally large, sprawling set of antlers stained with blood the color of indigo. In this form, she has curled golden-white hair, black eyes, pale skin, and white fur

When Nephys takes someone into her confidence, she will often take a human female form or Nahuali humanoid female form, with similar appearance to her male Chrubai form
