This bustling city is the largest on [[Shiruku Island]], which is culturally different from the mainlaind. Kamisuri serves as the collection point for the island's prosperous silk production, and the starting path of the "Silky Way", a trade route which transports the silken goods without the use of ships. The silk goods are brought from the coastal and mountain villages to the city by way of drawn carts and wagons. After arriving in the city, the carts are brought through a series of channels cut into a large platform, where they can easily unload their silk as ships in a harbor. As many villagers do not stay long in the city, these channels are also dotted with shops that offer their goods to the wagons as they make their way through the lines

The silks are then carefully packaged for the next leg of their journey, bundled onto long wagons which are linked together like cars of a train, pulled by teams of [[fauna#yak|yaks]] across the long earthen bridges of the [[Silken Path]], towards [[Ruscach]]
