Wodnes is known for having a razor sharp wit, a playful personality, a deep sense of curiosity, a trickster's heart, and an eidetic memory. Wodnes is not generally concerned with wider humanoid affairs, though does often obsess over specific details of humanoid history or a particular humanoid's journey through life

When interacting with humanoids, Wodnes often takes the form of an young androgynous human with medium-light skin, blond-grey hair, and green eyes. Wodnes' hair appears in many styles, both long and short, and never appears with body or facial hair. Wodnes typically dresses in grey or white clothing in variant styles

Wodnes is also known to appear as a [[nereid]], [[sylph]], and [[ulfar]]. As a nereid, Wodnes' appears young and in the neutral gender with pale green eyes, green hair, and medium-light skin. As a sylph, Wodnes' appears with similar features as when a nereid, with wing coloration that vary by the appearance. When appearing as an ulfar, Wodnes manifests as the fox variant with grey, white, and black fur, and green eyes
