Heiwa is [[Fiadh]]'s capitol city and home to over a third of the country's citizens. Situated centrally on Fiadh's coastline, the city is wedged between the shallow waters of the [[Yutakana Seas]] and the [[Faulan Mountains]]. The city sprawls along the coastline for over one hundred miles, but extends up the sides of the mountains only a few hundred feet. Most of the buildings are situated along the 75 feet of roughly flat coast line, or built over the water on stones or stilts. A stone-paved street winds along the entirety of the city where the sand meets the earth, and is the city's only road. Buildings are also carved into the sides of the mountains which rise steeply

The city has close ties to [[Kairu]], the second largest city of Fiadh and also home to a large portion of the population. Ferry ships make the trek between the cities constantly, connecting the island villages between the cities. Ferries also run up and down the coastline, where much of the rural population lives

Silk coming from Kairu makes its way through Heiwa and on through the mountain pass to [[Kital]] on its way over the Faulan Mountains to [[Yuanen]] and the rest of the continent. The residents of Heiwa wear traditional silk garments in government business but also for social gatherings. Everyday wear is also constructed of the lower quality silk cloth that comes through the silk road

The capitol city is very orderly and has a high focus on traditions and protocol. Every facet of public life is governed by a robust code of etiquette, though this code is often ignored in casual or personal settings
