Bhiain timber is known for its unusual strength and flexibility, and is often sought after for use in ship building. Bhiain has a reputation among sailors the world over as the most dangerous port in the [[Istigh Seas]], possibly on the entire planet. Despite this reputation, Bhiain is a welcoming town of friendly people where anything goes. Tavern brawls are frequent and often deadly, in which Bhiain's citizens have earned a reputation for being sharp-eyed and tough as nails, even in the drink
